The Poker News That Really Matters

John Bonetti Passes

Three time WSOP bracelet winner John Bonetti died of cancer in his hometown of Houston, Texas this Saturday.

Bonetti who had an impressive 20 WSOP final table appearances was a latecomer to the game of poker.  He took up the game at the age of 57 and was a fierce competitor at the tables.  He was often disliked by other players because of his no-nonsense attitude but his game was greatly admired by some of the biggest names in tournament poker.
