Looks like the rumor mill is buzzing with news that Gigamedia and Party Gaming are in talks about a possible merger. Coming off the back of a successful negotiation with the US DOJ Party now has a clean bill of health in terms of possible prosecution in the US and is a much more attractive partner to deal with.
The Time Online reports that some Gigamedia shareholders may not be too keen on the deal as they do not want to hold stock in a London based company.
