PokerFilter is an experiment. I got frustrated with the volume of poker news and blog postings and decided that the optimal solution would be to find a way to distinguish the gold from the junk. PokerFilter.net is all hand-picked content. I don’t just suck in a bunch of RSS feeds or rewrite press releases. I read my favorite blogs, message boards, and news sites and when I come across something interesting I post it here.

Of course, people are invited to comment on the posts here but most people grab the rss feed and then go directly to the site to post their opinions. That’s one of the reasons I appreciate mentions when folks run across a story here and decide to blog about it. A nice hat tip my way is a good gesture.
